Today, we help over 40,000 businesses across Europe and Australia collect payments, and we’re growing fast. Most recently we’ve opened an office in France, and we’ve started serving merchants in Australia & New Zealand for the first time.

We’re using this momentum and our learnings from our journey so far to expand our reach, and help accountants and small businesses get paid on time in Australia & New Zealand.

GoCardless has ambitious plans for Australia and New Zealand. We expect to grow through a combination of existing relationships with global partners (e.g., Xero) and multinational merchants. We’ve recently opened an office in Melbourne with an initial team from our London HQ, including a Country Lead and two Account Managers. We’re now building out our local team in Australia as we prove our product-market fit and seed volumes.
You’ll be joining a small team, meaning there’s a huge opportunity to make an impact, both on your own development, and on that of the people you hire, and a huge opportunity to learn.
Based in our Melbourne office, you’ll be responsible for leading our newly formed ANZ Accounting Partner Program. This includes hiring, managing and coaching a team of Account Managers tasked with winning and growing new accountants that go through the program. You’ll work closely with our Australia & New Zealand Country Lead to develop territory plans for the team, and you’ll also be expected to get involved with deals to help the team hit their goals.
You’ll actively promote GoCardless within the wider accounting ecosystem, liaising with key apps and influencers, whilst being present at industry specific events across Australia and New Zealand.
You’ll play a big role in delivering feedback from your new hires to our Global Partnerships, Product and Marketing teams to ensure that we create the best possible merchant experience.
