Operations is at the heart of customer experience here at The Hut Group, shipping to consumers worldwide from our Distribution Centres. Due to rapid growth, we are opening a new warehouse in Melbourne in Q1 2019 to enable us to deliver our amazing range of goods more efficiently to our Australian customers.
THG is looking to recruit Shift Managers with experience managing and leading warehouse operatives to manage a busy e-commerce distribution operation (inbound and outbound.) You have strong analytical abilities and proven track records in operations. You report directly to the Site Lead.
You will be required to
- Review work forecasts and determine resource required to meet objectives and KPIs
- Work with Site Lead, L & D and people partners to ensure resources are at the right level
- Communicate instructions from Site Lead to your direct reports and ensure these are followed.
- Identify problems and propose solutions to address
- Work with the people team to manage employee relations and process compliance
- Plan and lead complex or large-scale projects to improve efficiencies and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Where THG implements changes, communicate the purpose and encourage others to contribute positively and participate in change process.
- Identifying key members of the team for development to promote succession planning
- Covering for Site Lead at times of absence or holiday.
- Will be required to adhere to THG’s Health and Safety and Information security policies and procedures
