The role:


As the company grows, so does the quantity and variety of our data. This means we need more great people in the team to  feed our data-hungry decision makers with beautifully curated tools and concise insights.


This is a perfect role for someone who would like to work in a fast paced environment and contribute to building industry leading BI solutions.


As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll be involved in the following: following:

  • Work with senior stakeholders in the business to better understand the drivers of the business and how to manage these

  • Work closely with our data engineers to ensure that we have timely access to high quality, ready-to-analyse data from a growing range of sources

  • Collaborate with different teams to define meaningful metrics to track their performance and growth

  • Promote a self-serve data culture by building powerful, user-friendly BI tools and teaching the business how to use them

  • Maintain and improve existing data assets as the business scales

  • Investigation of new user and product behaviours as we create an entirely new way of providing insurance

  • Deliver on ad-hoc analysis requests from different business divisions

  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations around key business KPIs to senior management  

  • Help shape the direction of our ambitious analytics roadmap



  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, as demonstrated by a degree in a technical field and 3+ years’ relevant industry experience

  • Fast and self-motivated learner

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL

  • Experience with data visualisation (eg Looker (preferred), Tableau, Plotly)

  • Experience working with real-world data

  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to a range of audiences

  • Proven problem-solving skills, project management, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills

  • Business acumen and ability to translate analysis into clear business actions

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Nice to haves:

  • Experience working with insurance data

  • Experience with a language with strong statistical support (eg Python, R)

  • Experience with (or interest in) statistical modelling, data science and machine learning
