Integrations Developer at Recorded Future

We are looking for an outstanding integrations developer for Recorded Future’s core product development team. You will be joining a team of talented developers, that share a common interest in distributed systems with rich data and user interfaces, their scalability and continued development. You will get a chance to apply these and other skills to ongoing projects and user facing products that compose the world’s leading threat intelligence engine. The core focus for this role is integration of the Recorded Future platform to various SIEM systems such as Splunk, ArcSight and QRadar.

You also love new stuff! At Recorded Future you will get a chance to play with new technology, evaluate it and see what’s most appropriate for solving real-world problems. You have at least a couple of years of experience in coding. You are a self-starter and have good communication skills

What you will be doing

  • Own and drive Integrations development work with main focus on SIEM systems
  • Code primarily using Java, Scala, Python and Ruby
  • Continuously design, develop and deploy integration services with focus on high availability, great quality, low latency and scalability
  • Measure and evaluate features and system metrics to continuously improve user experience and service performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
  • Maintain supported integrations for new versions of the the third party platforms

What you will need

  • Great understanding of working with API:s
  • Passionate about great architectural design
  • You are fluent in multiple programming languages, primarily Python
  • Very good knowledge of asynchronous programming style
  • Ability to work all the way from high level architecture design down to efficient code
  • You have good understanding of system design, data structures and algorithms
  • Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows systems
  • Be able to take initiatives and collaborate across teams
  • Relevant education or experience

What we would love to see

  • Experience working with Splunk and other SIEM systems
  • Cyber Security / Threat Intelligence experience
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud environments
  • Experience in building web applications
  • Knowledge of scaling issues and approaches
  • Comfortable working in global teams
  • Splunk specifics
    • Good knowledge of Splunk search processing language (SPL), reporting, dashboards, and search acceleration techniques
    • Experience administering Splunk
    • Experience scripting with the Splunk REST API and regular expressions.
    • Good knowledge of Splunk data ingestion, field extraction, and post-ingestion processing
