Ecommerce Manager at Simple Feast
Copenhagen, DK

We’re looking for an ambitious Ecommerce Manager to join our team in Copenhagen.

At Simple Feast we are on a mission to change the world’s eating habits towards a more sustainable future, and we’re doing it by showing off the power of plants. Our early investors include other mission-driven founders and early employees from companies like Spotify & King, and we have recently received an investment from one of Europe’s leading funds, Balderton Capital, to take our concept global.

We have big plans for 2019 and are looking to grow our talented tech- and marketing teams as we grow. You now have the chance of becoming the person at the core of our eCommerce strategy as we scale our operation into new countries.

What you’ll do

As the eCommerce Manager, you will be main point of contact between the marketing- and tech teams, responsible for our eCommerce funnel, and the person driving the direction of our online shop.

In this role you will:

  • Own the product roadmap for the online shop and make decisions on new technology / processes to optimise our online shop.
  • Oversee our store-front across all markets, making sure the user-experience is smooth, stable, and set up to convert incoming traffic to customers.
  • Be in charge of running website experiments, testing new approaches and optimising our eCommerce funnel using data.
  • Be the spider in the web, managing projects and coordinate between key stakeholders to make sure we execute on our initiatives.

Who you are

We are looking for someone who is passionate about eCommerce and geeks out about new approaches, tools, and techniques for taking our digital product to the next level.

We believe the person who will do well in this role will be someone who:

  • Is skilled, ambitious, and brings valuable experience from other fast growing eCommerce businesses.
  • Has an understanding of the marketing funnel but (ideally) a background in engineering, computer science, UX-design or similar field.
  • Has a deep understanding of analytics, knows the game of running eCommerce experiments, and believes in data-driven design.
  • Has a good understanding of the development lifecycle and can manage the product development process alongside our tech team.
  • Is looking for a role in a purpose-driven company and excited to build the world’s most sustainable company.
