Sales Training Manager (Sales Enablement) at GoCardless

As part of the Sales Operations team our role is to create an efficient and effective business creating more selling time through continuous improvement and this role is essential to the success of this.

The Sales Training Manager develops and implements the training, content, processes, practices and tools needed to support salespeople throughout the buyer’s journey.

This is accomplished by working collaboratively with company leadership, sales, marketing, partners and other key stakeholders to increase sales results and productivity.

Key tasks and focuses will include:


  • Design and implement a global sales enablement programme
  • Train new and existing sales staff to increase productivity and effectiveness
  • Coordinate with sales leadership and executive management to define sales support initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing and Product teams
  • Create written content to educate sales teams and advance deals
  • Train the sales team on the best use of marketing and sales enablement materials
  • Manage the sales enablement content repository to ensure that all information is easily and readily accessible at the point of need
  • Determine content adoption metrics and define sales enablement best practices
  • Gather feedback from the sales team on a regular basis to constantly improve support programs

Skills, know-how and experience:

  • Prior Sales Enablement experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced unpredictable environment
  • Adept and project management and cross functional collaboration
