Sales Development Representative at TrademarkNow

TrademarkNow provides an intelligent web-based trademark management platform that is used by enterprise companies, law firms, and branding agencies for instant trademark search. Our product is used by some of the biggest brand owners in the world like Google, Microsoft, Unilever, MasterCard, and Rovio. Currently we have our headquarter in Finland and offices in Ireland and US employing about 40 people.

Our company is growing at a fast speed so we are looking for a motivated and energetic Sales Development Representative to join our Pre-Sales team! Our current Pre-Sales team is located in Ireland and Finland so you would have the chance to be our first Sales Development Representative located in US. But don’t worry, you wouldn’t be all alone as we have our Customer Success team in New Jersey and  some of our Sales function in Boston. Prefereably you would be located in Boston but New Jersey is also an option. At least in the beginning in this role you would be working from home until we get our office space set up in Boston. If you are looking for an exciting position to boost your career in sales, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

In this position, you will be:

  • Focused on researching potential target clients (corporate in-house trademark teams, law firms, and branding agencies) to critically analyzing and determining whether or not there is a fit between the prospect client and TrademarkNow
  • Prospecting (inbound and outbound) target clients via phone, email and social media platforms
  • Facilitating a smooth passing of the lead onto the Sales Specialist who will continue the sales process from there

To succeed in this position we hope you have:

  • Track-record of exceeding targets in sales or other projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (other languages like German, Spanish and French are a big plus!)
  • The ability to develop sales opportunities by researching, profiling and identifying potential accounts
  • The Ability to navigate a business landscape to generate qualified leads
  • The Ability to deliver high call volume and appointment setting
  • A self-starter attitude with bundles of enthusiasm and a can-do spirit
  • A Strong team player attitude and collaborative approach – happy to ‘get stuck in’ as needed
