Head of Talent Acquisition at Tessian

This role will shape the processes required to identify and hire exceptional people while we continuously offer our candidates an engaging and positive experience.
 
This role represents a unique opportunity to influence the way we recruit, design our employer brand strategy and ultimately define the culture by bringing into the business like minded people.
 
As the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will work closely with our Hiring Managers, Head of People, and our Finance Team to ensure we are on top of hiring demands. As we are in a period of fast growth, this role will be very hands-on and will require you to be able to manage both the day to day operations of the role, whilst thinking of the long term vision that will enable Tessian to scale at speed.

As Head of Talent, you will :

    • Own and influence our Talent Acquisition Strategy, in a period of high growth and high volume
    • Manage and coach a Team of Talent Acquisition Associates and Talent Acquisition Managers and continue to grow the Team with exceptional recruiters
    • Design an engaging, innovative and truly unique employer brand strategy which would make Tessian stand out as an Employer of choice
    • Partner with Hiring Managers, the People Team and any relevant internal stakeholders in order to ensure visibility and transparency on the pipeline
    • Advise your stakeholders and adapt the hiring strategy when needed thanks to your strong expertise of the market and of the candidate experience
    • Offer to all our candidates an optimised experience reflecting our Values and Culture and adopt a “candidate first” approach demonstrating a high level of respect and care for anyone applying
    • Source and attract future talent into the business using a range of methods and cost-effective channels – direct sourcing, talent mapping, employee referral, social media, job boards and networking and monitor ROI on each
    • Follow up closely recruitment activity through the production of regular reports and updates to your stakeholders
    • Keep one step ahead of recruitment industry innovations and trends and offer innovative ways to improve our candidate engagement and internal stakeholders satisfaction
    • Upskill, coach and train hiring managers on best practice in interview skills, processes, systems and current legislation – provide advice and support at key stages of the recruitment processUse the insights you receive on the market to drive changes in the business aligned with the new trends in Tech in order to remain competitive
    • Work with the wider Talent/People team on ad-hoc projects as required

We are looking for someone with...

    • Experience in leading the recruitment efforts within a fast-paced environment such as a start-up or a rapidly growing business
    • Excellent attention to detail, organising and planning skills – ability to prioritise work and work under pressure, consistently achieve deadlines.
    • An ability to create, maintain and develop strong working relationships with the team and all internal stakeholders
    • Strong team player, can work on own initiative, coupled with a positive attitude and flexible approach
    • Care about giving the best experience to the People they work with (candidates and internal stakeholders)
    • Easily embraces change and demonstrates flexibility when direction or priorities shift (and there will be many!)
    • Up-To-Date knowledge of the modern recruitment landscape, legislative changes and hiring techniques
    • Data-driven and analytic approach to managing the process along with ongoing reporting of key metrics.
