Senior Corporate Communications Manager at Lyst
London, GB

Global fashion search platform Lyst is a technology platform that connects millions of consumers globally with millions of products from the world’s leading fashion designers and stores, giving them a simpler, more engaging and better buying experience. At Lyst we work in small, self-managing, autonomous teams. In this role you’d be joining the Activist squad; a team of multi-disciplined marketers responsible for delivering impactful, global communications campaigns.

We’re looking for a Senior Corporate Communications Manager to help us grow brand awareness and engagement in the technology, fashion and business communities. In this role you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering content and communications campaigns that step change awareness within your three specific audiences, via a range of channels.

The Role

Reporting to Lyst’s VP of Communications, you will be working closely with multiple stakeholders to own and manage Lyst’s B2B comms strategy.

This will include:

  • Creating and marketing compelling content that helps explain Lyst’s unique value proposition to your target communities: fashion industry, technology industry, corporate/business.
  • Delivering impactful press coverage featuring Lyst, our activities and our people.
  • Boosting our thought leadership profile by proactively hunting down comment or speaking opportunities for senior leadership, and coordinating a calendar of key moments.
  • Finding and testing new creative initiatives to engage and inform the fashion, technology and business communities.

  • You’ll need a passion for the fashion, media and technology industry. We work in a fast moving, constantly changing space and you’ll need to be hyper-connected and informed.
  • Demonstrable experience of owning and reporting on impactful brand campaigns, ideally with B2B objectives.
  • You will need to think strategically but also be able to own execution, working autonomously as part of a multi discipline team to race towards ambitious targets. The ability to prioritise and able to work on multiple projects at once is essential.
  • You’ll be outgoing and sociable; owning, building and nurturing meaningful relationships with relevant press, influencers and opinion makers is a key part of this role.
  • You’ll have a solid understanding of the corporate comms landscape and news cycle, with strong journalist relationships in this area. Experience communicating financial performance updates and fundraising rounds also useful.

About You

  • You will need to create your own stories and proactively seek out the most impactful opportunities. The Lyst comms team is proudly scrappy and seriously hungry when it comes to generating coverage. You’ll be up for the challenge of step changing awareness for these three key audiences, fast.
  • We’re looking for a creative thinker who can bring a new energy to ‘corporate’ comms. You will need to establish value with these key audiences beyond traditional media channels and help us lead as innovators in the brand and comms space.
  • We are a metrics driven company with ambitious targets. We want you to raise our game when it comes to tracking and measuring the success of your campaigns to ensure they’re really making an impact.

  • Private Healthcare by Vitality - your health is important to us which is why we offer all employees a comprehensive healthcare scheme.
  • Company pension - up to 3% matching.
  • The Lyst Clothing Benefit. We're a fashion company so we'll give you £250 to spend on the site in Year 1, £500 in Year 2, £750 in Year 3 and £1000 from Year 4 onwards. You're going to look fantastic!
  • Holidays - It's important you take time off! You get 22 days throughout the year to take a well-earned rest. In addition, you get 8 public bank holidays and 7 additional days when the office is closed over Christmas, so a total of 29 days & bank holidays
  • Your conference tickets are paid for - we’re big on learning and development and encourage everyone to attend events. In fact, we go further and all Lysters get £1,500, $1,900 to spend on conferences, courses and training.
  • Eyecare – Discounted eye tests and glasses.
  • Regular yoga classes, 5 a-side football and netball teams to encourage a healthy work/life balance.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Transport Season ticket loans.
  • Team meet-ups twice a month to share some of the interesting things we’re working on internally and externally.
  • Social events - from table-top games to climbing, movie nights to triathlons, you’ll find a group of people always keen to get involved.
