Corporate Communications Manager at Infarm

As Corporate Communications Manager you will be responsible for all global corporate media relations activities to strengthen our business position and contribute to our expansion strategy.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, align and implement an integrated communications approach for infarm across different channels, including effective measurement of your activities
  • Build up a solid network of press contacts in the relevant set of (FMCG retail) media, opinion leaders, relevant corporate bloggers/influencers and organization representatives
  • Steer and coordinate all communication activities of our external (event) partners
  • Be familiar with all current industry-wide retail trends and know how to leverage on them to put our story, projects and teams on the agenda of relevant ambassadors and media
  • Act as the guardian of the infarm brand by ensuring consistency in communication (tone of voice) across the different touch points
  • Advertise infarm through local events, sponsorships and marketing partnerships
  • Coordinate with local media agencies to implement our campaigns together with the Marketing Managers
  • Understand our infarm strategy and manage business complexity

Preferred Specifications

  • Professional experience in Journalism and/ or PR and Media Relations, ideally in a consumer/corporate/start-up focused corporate environment
  • A creative storyteller with ability to design customer centric content pieces in different formats
  • A strategic, results-oriented approach to work and capable of making decisions in high-pressure situations while paying strict attention to detail
  • Love to think outside the box and trial new formats but also know how to handle sensitive topics confidently
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English and German
  • Basic language skills in French is a plus but not mandatory

Qualifications and Key Characteristics

  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Completion of a university or college degree, with an advanced degree preferred
  • Strength in identifying key priorities, and aligning strategic and tactical plans
  • Ability to work quickly and decisively
  • Effective under pressure, skillfully managing competing priorities
  • A skilled negotiator able to work to tight deadlines
  • A great team player and leader, eager to work in a dynamic and fun environment
