What am I selling?
The Digital Revolution that the Industrial Revolution has been waiting on for 200 years. 3D Hubs provides quick, easy, online, affordable access to a network of 3D printing, CNC & Injection Molding services. As a Junior Account Executive at 3D Hubs you'll be responsible for managing the sales pipeline for up to 100 different client accounts across the UK, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain...and anywhere else that you and your team can find leads.
Who am I selling to?
We aim for Engineers in high volume manufacturers and their suppliers. Good examples include the Automotive or Medical Device industry, but there's really no limit on where your leads might come from! If you think we can get €3k for a bespoke tool for a vending machine company in Italy - go for it! Or maybe a previous client has referred a colleague who needs a custom-made Helicopter harness in Hungary? It could happen. Our platform is versatile and we're still discovering the full extent of what Engineers around the world can use it for.
[Note: Almost all of our Business is handled in English but multi-linguals make up 80% of our company]
Our Ideal Candidate?
You'll have a Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing, or even some prior experience. Although you've been in Sales for at least 3 years, you're firmly in touch with your 'inner nerd' and you still really enjoy engaging with Engineers in a commercial capacity. And you're good at it! You win customers over easily, identify their needs quickly, and you seem to be able to 'close' your encounters without effort whilst others struggle to understand the wider process they are a part of. In essence, you have 'Sales Instincts'. There's no Degree for what you know how to do in a conversation and you take pride in directly impacting the success of the company you represent.
