We are looking for a user-experience (UX) designer able to understand our business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes. The UX designer will work alongside the product owners, share the responsibility for the overall product functionality, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing. Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups optimised for a range of devices and interfaces
Facilitate the product owner’s vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products
Gather and evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with product owners
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images
Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
Create prototypes for new product ideas
Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
Portfolio of design projects
Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. wireframe.cc and InVision)
Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud and/or UI design specific software (Sketch, Figma)
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas and solutions to teams and clients
Good time-management skills
Ability to discuss and explain design options
Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesising abstract ideas into concrete design implications
Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
