We are looking for a friendly, analytical and driven person to take lead on our sales and marketing operations. Our sales team is growing fast and in order to maintain the fast pace we need help with streamlining our sales processes and improving data collection and analysis. Funnel is a Software as a Service product that helps some of the biggest businesses worldwide to automate marketing reporting by integrating with hundreds of marketing cloud services. Our customers use Funnel to make their businesses more data-driven by drawing spot on conclusions from their business and marketing data that we deliver to them. Funnel is a rocket ship accelerating (we more than doubled our turnover in 2018, and aim to do the same in 2019) and we need your help to further increase our speed.
To be successful in this position you’ll need to learn and understand the ins and outs of our sales teams’ day-to-day processes, challenges and problems. This is vital because your main focus will be in making the life of the sales team easier by streamlining processes and making sure we have all the data we need in order to make good data-based decisions. Bottom-line, in this position you’ll be playing a key role in bringing structure to chaos and design processes that will help us scale even faster. We have a fairly good idea of what we need, but since this role does not yet exist at Funnel, you would be the key player forming the role and adding your own flavour to it.
The main tasks and responsibilities
You will be part of the marketing team of four people and work closely with our sales teams both in Stockholm and Boston. Our marketing team is responsible for lead generation, customer marketing and the optimisation of the entire customer acquisition funnel from lead to closed won customer. We’re metrics driven and aim to measure everything we do in order to keep improving our performance on all fronts. We have a dev inspired working method and like to work in quick sprints releasing MVPs rather than working on long multi-month projects.
