Reporting to our General Counsel, you'll provide legal support to Citymapper across all departments and the multiple jurisdictions where our app is.
You'll assist with day-to-day legal support on a broad range of legal issues relating to payment-related regulatory requirements, subscription-related consumer law, marketing partnerships, software licenses, supplier contracts, trade marks, data protection, privacy compliance and employment law.
In the context of our subscription product, Citymapper Pass, you’ll keep up to date on new regulatory developments in the payments industry in key global jurisdictions, and you’ll advise on new product development and associated commercial documentation.
You'll work on app releases and product launches, so an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and hit deadlines is essential.
You’ll liaise with stakeholders in the business and externally in this highly-visible role, so you have to be able to communicate confidently and effectively.
4-7 years of practise qualification in a European or common law jurisdiction (years of experience is only a guide).
Education at a top university/US law school and/or training at a leading law firm.
Payments experience in a law firm, as well as work experience gained in a start-up or tech in-house environment (strongly preferred).
A willingness to roll up your sleeves, undertake a wide variety of tasks and see them to conclusion.
