At carwow, we’re aiming to create the best car-buying experience in the world. Buying a car is normally the second biggest financial decision people face (after buying a house), and it’s a complex one. There are many issues people face throughout the process, and we aim to fix them.

We’re a driven, energetic startup with a team of 200+ based in London, Munich and Madrid. We are backed by some of Europe’s leading VCs and have raised over £48m in funding since we launched, so we’re growing fast. carwow are hiring for an HQ Community Manager to ensure the physical environment, events and culture drives our carwow community forward.

What do you champion: An amazing community and culture for all, with a variety of social events

Key Responsibilities (what you’re ultimately responsible for):

Office and Facilities Management

  • Building management; processing and cancelling access cards, liaising with security and building management to ensure the safety of carwowers
  • Management of cleaning agency relationship
  • Monitoring of office supplies and stationery orders
  • Managing post and deliveries
  • Looking after our carwow perks; fresh fruit, Friday drinks, company meeting breakfast, nail lady and yoga
  • Ensure meeting rooms are tidy, fully stocked with all necessary supplies for internal and external meetings
  • Office monthly finances
  • Managing and monitoring the carwow Fire and Health and Safety policy

Diary support

  • Full diary support for CMO
  • Adhoc diary support for other execs

Hospitality

  • Ensuring all external visitors are taken care of
  • Ensuring that the VMS is running smoothly

Events

  • Management and execution of all HQ internal events; Wine & Cheese night, carwow quiz of the year, lunch ‘n’ learns, Friday drinks etc. and supporting the execution of large company-wide events i.e. skiwow, Olympics

REQUIREMENTS

You will:

· Have an outgoing and enthusiastic personality

· Have strong attention to detail, process-driven and good organizational skills

· Have experience in a similar position

· Take initiative and you must be able to work with little direction in a fast-paced environment

· Coordinate work smoothly and multi-task with other teams and departments

· Be clear, confident and succinct

· Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the job
