WHAT WE NEED
We’re looking for an Independent Non-Executive Director to chair the board of Revolut’s subsidiary in Ireland. This entity plans to become an authorised Electronic Money Institution and an Insurance Intermediary in Ireland.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Define board risk appetite for the different risks Revolut faces (especially outsourcing risks)Work closely with the parent company’s boards to set risk appetite and monitor performance. Quantify risks and define monthly management risk indicators to track Design and implement the processes for reporting and escalations to the board. Ensure that the decision making processes of the Board are effective and that the Board challenges sufficiently and effectively major proposals that are put forward by the executive management team as represented by the CEO.
WHAT SKILLS YOU’LL NEED
- Experience as a board member of an Electronic Money Institution or Retail Bank in Ireland
- Start-up experience
- Rigid understanding of relevant regulations
- Technical Background
- You love innovation and automation
