Job Description:

The mission of our Head of People is to develop and implement the overall People & Talent strategy in support of short-term and long-term business goals. This person will help create and manage the implementation of organizational change and culture that drives innovation and employee engagement.

You will partner with internal stakeholders to ensure coordination of People strategies and processes across the entire business, and with managers to grow diverse leadership, talent and technical capability. You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of structures and strategies to improve individual and organizational performance and to provide leadership for the People function.

You will:

Be responsible for the following areas:


Partner with stakeholders to grow diverse leadership, talent, and technical capability within the organization

Support and guide managers at all levels

Build and lead a team of People & Talent people as we grow (this is currently a lone role)

Performance & Development:

Oversee succession planning and introduces progression frameworks across the business

Introduce tools and practices that identify performance and growth opportunities for the wider team - track goals and metrics

Create ongoing and continuous feedback practices across the business as part of a performance review framework


Lead on pay review and benefit review processes

Ensure recognition is aligned with our core values

Organisational design:

Work with the leadership team to ensure the right people are in the right roles at the right time

Internal communication and instilling cultural normals that are global and inclusive

Employer Brand and Recruitment:

Ensure our EVP is well communicated and that we are attracting great people

Create strong and scalable recruitment processes across the business

Ensure that people are integrated well into Adludio through strong onboarding practices


Ensure communication of any and all policies and processes

Support managers on all ER issues

Ensure that we are compliant on all aspects of employment law including UKVI responsibilities for sponsorship of international talent

Support the Finance team with payroll and pension processes

Must have:

Strong experience in a People Manager or Head of People role from a high growth tech business

A qualification in a relevant degree. Eg: business management, organisational psychology, human resources and so on

Interest and a well versed knowledge of current emerging talent practices and developments

A track record of influencing and advising leadership and management on talent and employment matters

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities (written and oral); skilled in communicating with diverse settings, both 1:1 and in large groups

Strategic thinking skills with a hands-on style to deliver practical and effective solutions

Positivity, enthusiasm, self-motivation, and commitment to the goals at hand

Flexibility, tactfulness and patience, especially under pressure in a fast-paced environment

The ability to work with diverse groups of people and create alignment inline with business strategy

An entrepreneurial spirit and resourcefulness

5-8 years' experience in a similar role, preferability in a high growth scale-up

Nice to have:

CIPD qualifications would be helpful, but not necessary if you have the relevant experience
