An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Data Acquisition Manager to work within the ComplyAdvantage data team. You will be required to support the acquisition of data from third parties in line with the ComplyAdvantage Data Strategy.
You will play a key role in strengthening ComplyAdvantage’s core data assets through targeted on boarding of new suppliers. You will also support the acquisition of consumer data from other third parties in line with business requirements. Key areas of focus include but are not limited to:
- Assessing current coverage to understand gaps, researching and identifying potential suppliers
- Engaging data suppliers by securing appointments and maintaining relationships
- Where applicable, supporting internal business cases to demonstrate benefits and revenue opportunities
- Negotiating contracts and managing the supply of data from new suppliers
- Supporting product management teams and sales by promoting new data assets
The role requires the highest level of communication skills as the successful candidate will be negotiating with clients at senior level. The candidate will be required to work on their own initiative to secure appointments and opportunities. They will be required to meet targets not only on client visits but also on new data sources received by ComplyAdvantage and promoted live.
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in the financial services sector and have a good understanding of UK and European Data Protection legislation. A high standard of presentation and communication skills is also essential.
