Head of Affiliates - Beauty at The Hut Group

Purpose of Role: The Head of Affiliates is responsible for the development and execution of the global affiliate strategy and performance across our Beauty brands.



  • Planning, developing, implementing and managing the Global Affiliate strategy
  • To establish the role of content partners within the marketing mix, supporting PR and earned media initiatives
  • Building for the future with a 3-year strategic plan to position the business in a better place than our competition.
  • Continually research and understand the global affiliate environment to ensure that we remain the forefront of the industry
  • Prepare and manage the affiliate marketing budget and measure ROI’s and KPI’s across optimal levels of investment, new customer acquisition and retention
  • Contribute to driving increased marketing efficiency through identifying cost re-investments on existing customers and non-incremental activity
  • Driving forward best in market Affiliate Network integrations with clear SLA’s and deliverables across all appointed partners
  • Establishing clear new customer acquisition driving initiatives to exceed growth targets per territory
  • Identify non-traditional Affiliate partnerships and develop our program accordingly i.e. Bank Linked Programs and B2B Brand Relationships
  • To establish the role of content partners within the marketing mix, supporting PR and earned media initiatives
  • Assisting the Group Affiliate & Partnership director to implement best practice and initiatives across the group vs. divisional focus
  • Collaborates with category and partnership teams to contribute towards strategy meetings and build-out the performance marketing component of JBP’s

  • Building and maintaining an effective management team – Providing direction to the work and resources of our business and ensuring we recruit and retain the best staff possible
  • Gives clear guidance to team members ensuring quarterly objectives are set and monitored and continuous feedback is given to team to aid their development
  • Develops skills of the team – identifies individual training needs as well as encourages effective teamwork, KPI’s setting and communicating clear goals/targets.
  • Motivates team – gives recognition and praise, implementing incentives to drive performance within the team.
  • Provides support to new team members – ensures a full induction is provided and support during the learning process
