About the Division:
Technology is at the heart of the business, core to the growth and internationalisation of all brands that sit under the THG umbrella. Our platform currently supports 177 international websites, in 47 different languages and 23 payment methods. We have our own warehouses and write our own software to fulfil customer orders. From hosting, all the way through to logistics, we power it all through efficient and scalable technology which has been developed in house!
In addition to our in-house capabilities, we frequently partner with best-of-breed 3rd party providers to supplement our excellent services and tools. To name a couple, we work closely with Oracle on a Compliance Management solution to ensure our products are of the highest quality, and a Demand Planning solution to optimise our inventory position to reduce out-of-stock scenarios and have the ‘right’ level of inventory in all of our warehouses. We integrate these 3rd party solutions into our in-house systems, so gaining an understanding of the end-2-end flow of information is key to be successful in this role.
We are looking to optimise our supply chain systems end-2-end, and need an experienced Business Analyst to help us map what this looks like today and highlight the gaps to enable us to prioritise our roadmap effectively. We need to start from the very beginning of the process, and the following will give you a flavour of what is in scope:
The role sits within Technology, reporting into the Senior Business Analyst and working closely with the Director of Supply Chain and the CTO - Logistics.
The successful candidate will not just gain an excellent understanding of the ‘As-Is' and ‘To-Be' processes, but also the systems in use at each of the steps including the users of these systems.
Strong stakeholder management is key as this person will be interacting with Technology, Finance (CFO and Finance Directors), Supply Chain Management and Warehouse Operations and be the bridge between the difference business units and Tech
