At Healx, we are discovering treatments for the 350 million people that are affected by rare diseases. We are looking for an analytical, results-driven Back-End developer to join our Artificial Intelligence team to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes.
What you will be doing:
Building production ready applications and APIs to support our AI tools and data consumers.
Compiling and analyzing data, processes and current applications to troubleshoot problems and identify areas of improvement.
Collaborating with front-end developers and other AI team members to establish objectives and design functional, cohesive applications to enhance usage of AI methods across the company.
Developing ideas for new applications, products or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
Taking lead on projects, as needed.
Proven track record of work experience in developing production-ready back-end applications.
Strong software development experience (preferably in Python).
Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
Excellent ability to work independently and in a team and resilience to partial specifications and/or priority changes.
Understanding of AI current applications and techniques or interest in the field.
Experience in deploying and maintaining cloud-based solutions (Google cloud / AWS)
Experience exposing machine learning models via REST APIs
Experience with search technologies like ElasticSearch.
Experience or interest in developing micro-services architectures.
