As the Peakon engineering team grows, we are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional feature team. Together with the product manager, you will prioritise and scope projects for the team. Your responsibility is the quality and timely delivery of these projects. To achieve this, you will work closely with the team to prioritize efforts, facilitate collaboration, and remove obstacles.
You will be responsible for coaching and growing the engineers on the team, as well as hiring and on-boarding new team members.
In addition to supporting the team, you will be contributing code regularly and participate in the day to day work by providing constructive feedback, participating in code reviews and architectural discussions regarding new features and products.
We rely heavily on automated testing on all levels of the application, with thousands of tests checking every commit to our code base. We use CircleCI for hosted continuous integration to make sure our most recent changes are always available to test and we deploy code to the production environment on a daily basis.
