Working in the central marketing team with a focus on customer retention, the insights generated will need to be shared with the Marketing & Customer Experience / Service teams.
There will also be a strong element of coding in SQL & python, in order to maintain & improve the predictive modelling of customer lifetime value.
Understanding the underlying data behind customer retention & lifetime value, and then presenting the key findings to stakeholders at all levels, is key for validating existing or creating winning customer acquisition strategies.
Identifying trends and features in transactional dataset’s, and investigating these to understand the main drivers for customer behaviour
Extracting the data required for analysis from our internal systems, and visualising the data in a clear & meaningful manner.
Liaising with different divisional marketing teams to understand their customer behaviour and sharing & applying relevant insight from across the group.
Day-to-day reporting on Customer Retention, Lifetime Value (Actual & Predictive).
Skills and Experience:
Highly Analytical with the ability to identify trends in data.
The drive to understand why the data is showing what it does, what it means from a commercial and practical POV, and what factors can impact it.
Commercially aware and a customer-centric view of e-commerce, what does the customer expect from us & how best can we offer this to them.
Strong Excel skills a must, and previous knowledge of extracting data via SQL a bonus.
Knowledge of manipulating data, connecting to API’s etc. through Python or R a bonus.
