Head of Strategy & Planning - Global Business at Revolut

We are looking for a data driven, analytical & process driven operations expert to head up and launch our Global Business Strategy & Planning team.  This will include building a team and creating a blueprint for department KPIs, roadmaps, and how we work across different teams. Your mission will be to help create efficiency as the team continues to scale globally. 

This role will be based at Revolut’s London headquarters with a mission to support global initiatives and will report directly to the VP of Global Business.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Scale: build and optimise scalable processes to globalise team efficiency given hyper growth, including setting up KPIs, road maps, keeping track, and ensuring we reach our goals
Strategy: define prioritisation, project planning, execution of top priorities, and setting a timeline to reach goals quickly.  Opportunity to work closely the Exec team on defining the next big bet areas
Planning: work closely with Product Owners to effectively plan roadmap, ensure key deals are being signed, and maximise resources. Includes setting up from scratch a Global Business Deal Review Process which aims at up-leveling and sharing best deal practices across the organisation
Build ROI models & deal tracking procedures to maximise revenues and optimise performance
Drive analysis on globe-spanning projects and make important strategic recommendations improving the experience for our partners and customers
Problem solve complex deals and be first sign off in negotiation cycle, working closely with risk & finance, and cross-functionally
Work across the whole function to promote maximum efficiency
Identify issues before they happen and challenge thinking across the Business function
Managing pipeline - building excel models, creating presentations, working cross functionally to promote operational excellence

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Problem-solving – ability to identify the component that is causing an issue, as well as the options available for resolving it and selecting the best option to solve it
Ability to handle ambiguity – ability to focus on goals despite pressure and multiple stakeholders; clear prioritisation of output over process management, and ability to adapt to shifting priorities
Project planning / organisation – ability to determine goals and priorities and to assess the actions, time and resources needed to achieve those goals; understanding human, financial, and operational resource issues to make decisions aimed at building and planning efficient project workflows, and at improving overall performance
Stakeholder management – ability to systematically identify, and positively influence the actions of relevant individuals and groups to achieve mission-oriented outcome
Presence:  Excellent business acumen, communication and interpersonal skills
