Operations Analyst (open to Graduates) at Nutmeg

Job in a nutshell:

We are looking for an Operations Analyst to ensure the key operational and trading processes are completed, documented, analysed, and improved in line with business growth. We are looking for someone who is up for the challenge, and keen to learn. Full technical training will be given!

    Obtain a good understanding of the Nutmeg systems and processes
    Mass processing of transaction - trades, deposits, dividends, transaction reporting, ISA subscriptions, etc…
    Data interrogation - reconciliation, data checking & cleansing
    Provide support to trading in terms of re-balancing and trading
    Review relevant process as agreed with the Head of Trading and make necessary changes
    Assess processes from a scalability, risk and compliance perspective
    Establishing & building relationships with market counterparties & vendors
    Ensure stock and market counterparty data is correct and up to date
    Work with key stakeholders to develop new products, ensuring operations and trading have sufficient tools required to manage new products and services
    Work both independently and in a team in the development of new products and services


Your Skills:

    Extensive interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders of all levels
    Proven ability to analyse, amend and document processes and procedures
    Advanced Excel knowledge – to be assessed at interview stage
    Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
    Excellent attention to detail
    Critical thinking
    Ability to drive organizational change and work with multiple business units of an organization to effect change

Please note that this role is subject to compliance with the FCA’s Senior Managers & Certification Regime (“SMCR”). As a result, we are required to apply enhanced vetting procedures post offer acceptance.

The successful candidate will further be subject to ongoing compliance with SMCR to include yearly exams and annual review of fitness and propriety.
